Psalms 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.
Pastor Burt L. McBryde was ordained as Pastor of Antioch Freewill Baptist Church in November 2004. Having a love for God’s people, He accepted the call to be the church’s Supply Pastor, and for more than a year, heserved in that capacity until the Lord elevated him.
Pastor McBryde’s desire is to win souls for the Kingdom of God. He is very concerned about new believers asthey enter into the body of Christ; and he makes every endeavor to impact the necessary wisdom, knowledgeand understanding of God’s Word into their lives, so that they will be well equipped for their spiritual journey. With that in mind, he decided to further his spiritual knowledge by enrolling in The Florida Theological SeminaryInstitute in Lakeland, Florida and then Warner University. Pastor McBryde graduated from Warner University inJanuary 2011 with a Masters of Science in Management. His goal for the church is to make sure that they are“Rapture Ready”. Jesus is coming back, and Elder McBryde wants to make sure that NO Saint Is Left Behind.
Elder McBryde was born, raised and educated in Lake Wales, Florida. He was adopted into the body of Christby receiving the Holy Spirit in January of 1995, under the leadership ministry of Bishop Charles Brown. He has been an awesome example of how the Lord can take someone and totally change their lives for the better, in just a matter of minutes. He received the call to preach in August of 1996. He left no doubt that the Lord was incontrol as he preached his first sermon “Peek-a-boo! God Sees You!”
Pastor McBryde is married to the lovely and anointed woman of God, Evangelist Marie D. McBryde. Together, they are an awesome team and a formidable presence against the hand of the enemy.
