HOW DO I BE SAVED?
Being Saved
Many people think there are multiple paths to God and that each religion represents an aspect of truth. But what does the Bible teach about the way of Salvation? The Bible tells that their is one way to be saved and it is through Faith in Believing the Jesus Christ lived and died to forgive us of our sins. Faith means to Beleve and Trust through we have not seen with our physical eyes. To begin a relationship with God, we must Acknowledge, Believe, and Confess. These three Life Changing steps are often known as the Christian ABC’s. Anyone who has the Faith in Jesus Christ can follow these simple steps to beginning a Life Long relationship with Jesus Christ.
Acknowledge that we are sinners.
The Bible in Romans 3:23 declares: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We have all committed sins against God and therefore are unholy in his sight. Romans 3:10 declares: “There is none righteous, no not one.” In order to come into God’s presents, we must be saved. This is accomplished through God’s plan of trusting in His only son Jesus Christ.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
In Acts 16:31, it states, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” There are no other prerequisites, no additional requirements. But how do we let God know we have Faith and Believe in his Son?
Confess your belief in Christ
Romans 10:9 states: “If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” Romans 10:13 states: “For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” It’s that simple. Call upon the Lord and he will save you from your sins.
Repent of your sins. Repentance is turning from your sins and turning to the Lord. Jesus said in Luke 13:3, “Unless you repent, you shall likewise parish.” If you would like to receive the FREE gift of Jesus into your life, please pray the following prayer.
Dear Lord, I acknowledge to you that I am a sinner. I believe that you are the Son of God. You died on the cross to save me from my sins. You were buried and raised from the dead three days later. I confess to you that I need you. I turn from my sins and ask you to forgive me. Come into my heart and save me now. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
If you prayed this payer, we would like to rejoice with you. The gift of salvation is free yet so many do not partake in it. Please contact us on the contact page and let us provide some additional spiritual information for you to read. This also allows us to pray for you and your spiritual walk as you grow in the Lord.
